The setting for ‘present’ is of a long journey during a vivid summer afternoon in a forest.
For present, I wanted to make it highly saturated, adding lots of greenery to show how nature is in full bloom during summer. The rays of light suggest the warm summer sun whilst the shadows of the trees contrasts the stark sunlight. I gave my character a staff to hint towards the long journey he has made/ will make. It also gives a sense of mystery as it is not clear why he’s making this journey or what he’s trying to find/ achieve.
