Past:
The setting in ‘past’ is a soft but cloudy spring morning in a snowy landscape.
For this image, I wanted to create a photographic scene as if it was an aged photo. In order to create a soft sepia filter over the image, I played around with the adjustment in adobe photoshop. The two rabbits in my photo are of my character and his mother when he was younger. As well as the sepia colour, I chose to make the image look cloudy and misty as a way to show the faded memory of childhood for my character, further emphasising the theme ‘past’.
I chose to set the scene in a snowy mountain as they’re both artic rabbits, which are commonly found in colder countries such as Canada, Greenland as well as the artic. I wanted to create a homely feeling for my character thus a snowy landscape with small bits of greenery to show that it’s the beginning of Spring, a time of new life and new beginnings.
